Town of Colrain Zoning Bylaw Changes Under Articles 9, 10, and 11 of the Special Town Meeting held in the Town of Colrain on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, it was voted to amend the "Zoning Bylaws of the Town of Colrain, Massachusetts" as follows: Article 9 - Voted that the Town amended sections of zoning by-laws to make specific identified changes related to large-scale ground mounted solar-photovoltaic systems ("large scale solar systems") as presented in the warrant. Article 10 - Voted that the Town amended its zoning by-laws by adding Section 17: Short-Term Rental of Residential Properties, Section 2: Definitions, and Section 4: Use Regulations as presented in the warrant. Article 11 - Voted that the Town amended several sections of its zoning by-laws related to the Floodplain Overlay District, including amending Section 3.4, amending Section 8.6, and removing Sections 8.6.1 through 8.6.2.2 as presented in the warrant.
