Town of Buckland Conservation Commission Pursuant to the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, MGL Chapter 131, Section 40, the Buckland Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Monday, May 4th at 6:30 pm by Zoom and in person at the Buckland Town Hall. The Town of Buckland has filed a Request for Determination of Applicability to determine whether the reconstruction of a portion of Charlemont Road is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act. The project site is located within the town Right-of-Way between 139 Charlemont Road and the Charlemont town line. The application is on file with the town clerk and is available for public inspection. The public meeting will be conducted in compliance with the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
