PUBLIC HEARING In accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A, Section 11, the Town of Leverett Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on January 29 at 7:00 pm at the Leverett Town Hall, 9 Montague Road, to consider the application of Friends of the North Leverett Sawmill. The petition requests a special permit appeal under Sections 2233, 2250, 2254, 4400, 4330 of the Town of Leverett Zoning By-law to allow for adaptive re-use of the pre-existing sawmill as a community event space, museum, artisan workshops, and the like on land that borders a river and is within a flood plain. The property is located at 63 North Leverett Road (Assessor's Map #1 Lot #11). A copy of the application and proposed plans are available for public inspection at the Town Clerk's office during normal business hours. All interested parties are invited to attend the hearing or submit written comments to the Board at any time before the close of the public hearing.
