NOTICE OF MORTGAGEE'S SALE OF REAL ESTATE Premises: 72 Vernon Street, Greenfield, MA 01301 By virtue and in execution of the Power of Sale contained in a certain mortgage given by Rachel Eskridge and Zachary Hession-Smith to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as mortgagee, as nominee for Movement Mortgage, LLC, and now held by Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC, said mortgage dated January 14, 2022 and recorded in the Franklin County Registry of Deeds in Book 7933, Page 252, said mortgage was assigned from Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as mortgagee, as nominee for Movement Mortgage, LLC to Movement Mortgage, LLC by assignment dated July 31, 2024 and recorded with said Registry of Deeds in Book 8353, Page 160; said mortgage was assigned from Movement Mortgage, LLC to Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC by assignment dated December 23, 2024 and recorded with said Registry of Deeds in Book 8421, Page 179; for breach of the conditions in said mortgage and for the purpose of foreclosing the same will be sold at Public Auction on May 26, 2026 at 02:00 PM Local Time upon the premises, all and singular the premises described in said mortgage, to wit: A certain tract or parcel of land, with buildings thereon, situated on the northwesterly side of Vernon Street, town of Greenfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts, more particularly bounded and described as follows: BOUNDED northerly by land now or formerly of Frances D. Tilden; easterly by Vernon Street; Southerly by land now or formerly of Frederick Allen; and westerly by land now or formerly of Frederick L. Burnham. Said parcel being about 75 feet in front and about 132 feet deep and being Lot. No. 66 on plan entitled "Maplewood Tract" duly recorded in the Franklin County Registry of Deeds to which said Plan reference is made for a more particular description. SAID parcel is SUBJECT to the RESTRICTION, if same is now in force and effect, that no building be erected nearer than 25 feet to Vernon Street. It is not the intention of the Grantor, however, to extend or to re-create said restriction. BEING the same premises conveyed to the Mortgagors herein by deed of Patricia K. Robertson Hall and recorded in Franklin County Registry of Deeds herewith. The description of the property contained in the mortgage shall control in the event of a typographical error in this publication.
