INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) NORTHFIELD MOUNTAIN PROJECT APPRAISAL SERVICES PUBLIC NOTICE & ADVERTISEMENT In accordance with MGL Chapter 30B, the Towns of Erving, Northfield and Gill, acting through the Boards of Assessors, will accept bids for the professional appraisal services to determine the full fair market value of the Northfield Mountain Pumped Storage Project - Hydro Electric Generating Facilities, based on January 1, 2026 valuations, until April 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM, at which time the bids will be publicly reviewed in the presence of one or more witnesses. The procurement document, including specifications, is available for download in a PDF format. Interested bidders may register for the documents at www.erving-ma.gov/bids. Questions regarding this procurement will be accepted until April 16, at 12:00PM. An addendum may be issued if questions are presented. Questions regarding this document should be submitted to Bryan Smith, Chief Procurement Officer, by email at bids@erving-ma.gov with the subject line "Northfield Mountain Appraisal IFB Questions." One (1) printed copy of the complete sealed bid submission, using the forms provided in this procurement, must be submitted by April 30, 2026, at 10:00AM. All bids must be delivered to the Town of Erving, Attn: Bryan Smith, 12 East Main Street, Erving, Massachusetts 01344 by the stated deadline. Sealed bids must be clearly marked "Northfield Mountain Appraisal IFB." Any/all late submissions will be rejected. The Towns of Erving, Northfield, and Gill will be the awarding authority, and they reserve the right to reject any and all bids in total or in part and to waive any minor informalities, if it is in the best interest of the towns.
