A petition has been presented to said Court by Philip St. Pierre of Easthampton in the County of Hampshire, representing that he hold as joint tenant undivided part or share of certain land lying in Ashfield in said County of Franklin and briefly described as follows: 261 Main Street, Ashfield, MA 01331 and briefly described as follows: The land in Ashfield, Massachusetts, together with the buildings and improvements thereon, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a butternut tree at the northeast comer of this described tract, said tree being on the west side of the highway known as Buckland Road; thence running southerly 77 feet, more or less, to the north side of a highway which is a continuation of Main Street; thence running westerly on the north side of said highway to land now or formerly of Chester A. Bronson; thence running northerly about 77 feet on land now or formerly of said Bronson and land now or formerly of Milo M. Belding to an iron pin; thence running easterly along land now or formerly of said Belding to the place of beginning. Comprising 1/2 acre, more or less, with the dwelling thereon. There is excepted from the foregoing premises that tract or parcel of land conveyed by Walter E. Benjamin to Raymond M. Reniffby deed dated May 4, 1925 and recorded in the Franklin County Registry of Deeds at Book 723, Page 278, said parcel ofland being 69 1/2 feet in width and 66 feet in depth and containing 4,554 square feet, more or less. setting forth that he desire that all - the following described part of said land may be sold at private sale for not less than 400,000.00 dollars. and praying that partition may be made of all the land aforesaid according to law, and to that end that a commissioner be appointed to make such partition and be ordered to make sale and conveyance of all, or any part of said land which the Court finds cannot be advantageously divided either at private sale or public auction, and be ordered to distribute the net proceeds thereof. If you desire to object thereto you or your attorney should file a written appearance in said Court at Greenfield in said County of Franklin, before ten o'clock in the forenoon on the 7th day of August 2026, the return day of this citation.
