General Bids will be received no later than 3:00 PM local time on July 16, 2025 Filed Sub Bids for the trades listed below will be received no later than 3:00 PM local time on July 9, 2025 Pre-bid question deadline: Filed Sub Bidders: July 3, 2025, 12:00 PM General Contractors: July 3, 2025, 12:00 PM This Request for Bids (RFB) is the procurement process as set forth in MGL c.149. TCB Putnam LLC is seeking firms interested in providing public construction services for The Putnam, a renovation of the old Wilson's Department Store at 258 Main Street, Greenfield, MA. All eligible trades will be permitted to submit bids for the category of work in which they are qualified. Prequalifications were not required for this project. The Project consists of but not limited to enabling work on the Wilson's Department Store, a historic masonry building constructed with several different eras of additions, comprising approximately 95,000 total square feet of gross building area. The work includes implementation of an NFPA 241 fire safety plan, provision of temporary electrical, lighting, and heat, abatement of all hazardous materials, structural bracing and framing, demolition work including complete demolition of the 1970-era addition to the building and framing of a new circulation tower. General Construction and Filed Subcontractor (or) Trade Contractor bids from interested contractors are being sought. The following Filed Subcontractor (or) Trade Contractor bid categories of work through this RFB are: Masonry; Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron; Waterproofing, Dampproofing and Caulking; Roofing and Flashing; Elevators; Fire Protection; Plumbing; and Electrical An optional pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 23, 2025 10:00AM at 258 Main St. Greenfield.
